What we aim for
We build to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
What we have done
- Pages use proper headings, landmarks and a "Skip to content" link.
- Everything works with a keyboard, including menus, dropdowns, the photo gallery and pop-ups, with a visible focus ring.
- Text and controls meet AA colour contrast.
- Images have text alternatives. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Moving content respects your device's "reduce motion" setting, and the hero video can be paused.
- Forms have labels and clear error messages.
Known limits
Some third-party photographs may have brief descriptions. Map views are visual summaries; the same information is listed in text beside them. We are working on all of this.
