The tenancy contract and registration

Tenancies are registered through Ejari. Your advisor will explain what the landlord and tenant each provide and when the registration is completed.

Cheques, deposit and fees

Rent is commonly paid by post-dated cheque in one to four instalments. Ask for the deposit, agency fee and registration charges in writing before you sign.

Move-in checks

General information only, not legal or financial advice. Rules, fees and thresholds change, so confirm current requirements with the relevant authority or a qualified professional.
